Crazy Minnesottans

Today we left Elias in the van while we went to get some things in Target. Now Elias whies quite pitifully whenever we leave him alone. So as we strolled through Target across the loudspeaker our liscense plate number is called. Apparantly there had been several complaints that we had left our dog in the car. Flopper rather indignatly asked whether it was illegal and we left the store after making our purchases. Once outside we were astonishd to find a mall security vehicle parked blocking in our van because they had received several complaints.

This is exactly the sort of Kantian obnoxiousness that I detest about the prpriety obsessed Midwest.
